No more than a mile or so from the town centre, Norton Covert is a beautiful stretch of woodland alongside the A449 Kidderminster Road. Little more than half a mile across, it is a former sandstone quarry abandoned many years ago. Now it seems hard to imagine the landscape is manmade! These pictures were taken on Monday 26th November 2001.
