We're giving away over 100 books, for World Book Night on April 23rd,  at The Longlands Tavern in Stourbridge Old Quarter.
This is an international event to encourage reading among adults & we've been fortunate to be chosen as book-givers each year since it started 5 years ago. The Longlands has always been kind enough to offer us the pub as a venue for the giveaway.
This year we'll be giving away 4 official WBN titles along with a lucky dip (who knows what book you might get) & a couple of competitions (including a Stourbridge Ghost Trail). We buy the lucky dip books & competition prizes ourselves to add a bit more fun to the evening. It would be great to have a good turn out & a bit of publicity might help. ELMFIELD SCHOOL SUMMER FAYRE 13th JUNE 2015 14 Love Lane, Stourbridge, DY8 2EA
Elmfield school will be extending a hardy rural welcome to everyone at our Annual Summer Fayre. This year a piece of British tradition will be coming to our little corner of suburbia as we embark upon joys of the true Country Fayre. Dust off your flat caps and don your tweed as we delve into rural life with farm animals, pony rides and arguments about whether or not traditional Victoria sponges contain strawberry or raspberry jam. Facepainting, bouncycastle, singing, dancing and summer fun will all be waiting!
