The
Whittington Inn. Built in 1310, this stunning pub and restaurant was the home
of William de Whittington. It was from here that Richard (Dick) Whittington
journeyed to London and eventually became Lord Mayor of London. Also, Lady
Jane Grey lived here briefly, she was Queen of England for just eight days
as a child. King Charles stayed here on his flight from the battle of Worcester
during the Civil War
