Stourbridge Bus Station update - February 2012 - It's coming along nicely!

Stourbridge's new bus station and interchange is scheduled to open in early 2012.

It will include 11 upgraded bus stands where passengers can wait in glass shelters with doors that automatically open when the bus arrives. There will be CCTV and help points.

Electronic passenger information screens at strategic points within the station that will tell people when their bus will depart. The screens will include Real Time Information where available.

There will be a new passenger facilities building and toilet block. The existing toilets will be converted into a facility for bus drivers. A new pedestrian access ramp has been specifically designed for wheelchair users.
