Wordsley War Memorial - World Wars 1 and 2

Wordsley War Memorial can be found at the entrance to the Holy Trinity Parish Church on the A491. There are two inscriptions on the memorial, one for World War One and the other for World War Two:

"ERECTED BY THE PEOPLE OF WORDSLEY TO HONOUR THEIR GLORIOUS DEAD WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FIGHTING FOR HONOUR TRUTH AND JUSTICE IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919

GOD, THEIR KING AND COUNTRY"
